        <![CDATA[One really must wonder, at times, what sort of reality some folks inhabit. Do they act, or not, out of well-considered intentions? Or simply in the vain hope that "Things Will Get Better"? It only took two hours for things to get far from better at VT, this morning. How many wishful thoughts were shattered by the first, then the second, series of gun-shots - most aimed at people the gunman could not have known that well.
